Art Residencies

Throughout the year, the Medici Way welcomes artists from all disciplines to join in experience and conversation as part of an extended “San Jacopo in situ” residency program. These residencies are by invitation without cost to the artist and lasts from 3 weeks to 3 months. Unlike other residencies, there is no expectation of finished work during this time. We do request that you give feedback over the three years post-residency as to how the experience has influenced your work.

Additionally, Medici Way offers one-week mini-residencies created specifically for continued life-long learning of university arts and humanities faculty. These residencies are open to everybody with a reduced rate for full-time faculty at smaller universities.

Residencies operate in English and participants should be comfortably fluent communicating in spoken English to participate.
